Historical Hiking in Voss Herad

Are you ready for a historical experience? Join us on a walk along Kongevegen on May 22, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Here you will be guided on a tour through the historic Kongevegen from Haugsvik to Stalheim. The Kongevegen winds its way through an active agricultural landscape and ancient cultural treasures like pearls on a string. Here you will see and learn about, among other things:

• old farmyard and house

• burial mounds and tombs

• sacrificial stones

• archaeological finds

• stonemasonry

The hiking trail will look like this

Haugsvik - Rygg - Hause - Giljarhus - Lunde - Tveite - Sleen - Brattland - Stalheim

The hike is 5 km long and takes place on easy, slightly hilly terrain.
