The old farm yard
The first thing that meets the visitor is the charming old farmyard consisting of 25 old farm houses, here you can find, among other things, a barn from the 16th century, a barn from 1650 as well as a forge and two stables.
The first shuttle station at Stalheim from around 1750, the beautiful Lofthus loft, yes there is even a small schoolroom from 1881.
The exhibition hall
In the exhibition hall over 2 floors, the exhibitions are arranged thematically.
The different rooms in the exhibition hall are devoted to different aspects of the farmer's daily life: one room is for brewing, another for baking, a third for clothes, etc.
The playhouse
At the very top of the beautiful museum area towers the magnificent Lekve house from 1725. The mansion from Lekve on Voss has been wonderfully restored inside and out as it appeared around 1750 - 1760.
Lekvehuset shows that at Voss too one could find elements of both continental culture and luxury.
