West Norwegian fjord landscape from Stalheim

Stalheim is located on the edge of the World Heritage area and has a beautiful view of Nærøy valley with the distinctive and round Jordalsnuten, the valley shelf with the homestead Nåli and the mountains Sivlesnipa, Stalheimsnipa and Brekkenipa. Stalheimskleiva that winds down the mountain is part of the cultural landscape of the World Heritage Park.

« With world heritage status and several valuable protected areas, the nature here is extra important to preserve. The combination of the unique natural heritage, human life in the landscape and people's commitment to ensuring that we have good, strong local communities is what distinguishes the area. »
